All Star Battle R has 10 additional fanciful characters than the previous iteration’s 41. Phantom Blood’s Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando, Jonathan’s descendant Jotaro Kujo from the Stardust Crusaders arc, and Josuke from the most current Jojolion plot are all represented.
Gameplay
Altogether, trying out each fighter is fun, and the newly introduced assist move synergies make combat more complicated than in the original. Character peculiarities and interactions provide humor to every battle. The cherry on top is an upgrade to the Japanese voice cast in All Star Battle R, with performers returning their roles from previous anime adaptations to make these realistic recreations seem complete.
