Valkyrie Elysium conclusion is less linear than the game’s narrative and gameplay flow. We’ve listed all the Verdant Blossoms here.
While the majority of the true ending is determined by the player’s actions in Chapter 9 of Valkyrie Elysium, the only way to reach it is by gathering all nine Verdant Blossoms.
Verdant Blossoms differ from the Hollow Blossoms encountered throughout the game in that their meanings cannot be deciphered until all nine have been collected.
Valkyrie Elysium: Verdant Blossoms in Chapter 3
On the map, they appear as little flaming green dots. The first encounter occurs close to the first save spot by the bridge. Verdant Blossoms do not emerge until Chapter 3.
It is located in the middle of the bridge, making it quite straightforward to locate. Picking it up will initiate a lengthy cutscene, after which players will be able to proceed. The second Verdant Blossom is located approximately halfway through Chapter 3, once all opponents in the chapel have been eliminated.
Before chatting with Armand in the side chamber, Valkyrie Elysium players must ascend the staircase and turn around. After crossing the limited floor space, gamers will wish to investigate the second-story rooms.
One room contains a treasure chest, while the other contains the Verdant Blossom. If a player misses a Verdant Blossom, they can retry the relevant Chapter to obtain it. Once players obtain the Verdant Blossom they missed, they must repeat the Chapter and cannot return to Valhalla; otherwise, they will not receive credit for obtaining it. It has no effect on the Verdant Blossoms what rank a player receives for completing a Chapter.
Verdant Blossoms: Chapter 4
The initial Verdant Blossom can be discovered shortly after beginning the Chapter. From the second save point, players of Valkyrie Elysium must turn right and descend the stairs. The first Verdant Blossom will be located on the terrace facing the water.
The second Verdant Blossom is located in the castle near the chapter’s conclusion. The room is closed off, thus players must use the stairs to travel around it. This Verdant Blossom is only visible on the map if the player is currently on the same floor as it.
Valkyrie Elysium: Verdant Blossom: Chapter 5
Each Chapter will have only one Verdant Blossom, and they will no longer feature in Side Quests. After defeating the chapter’s boss and recruiting Kristoffer, the Verdant Blossom is located near the conclusion of Chapter 5.
Up wards the top of the map, take a left turn into a little side region. The road to the left contains a chest, while the path to the right contains the Verdant Blossom. Players of Valkyrie Elysium must utilize Kristoffer to traverse the barrier of darkness barring their path.
Verdant Blossom: Chapter 6
In contrast to Chapter 5, the Verdant Blossom can be located in Chapter 6 shortly after the task begins. Near the beginning of Chapter 6 lies an inaccessible tower. The first story is secured with iron bars, while the second floor is secured with a lockable door.
As soon as players remove the flower blocking their path, they can ascend the ledge, where a chest sits atop one of the buildings. The treasure contains a key that allows Valkyrie Elysium players to open the door of the building containing the Verdant Blossom.
Verdant Blossom: Chapter 7
Chapter 6’s Verdant Blossom can be found early on, but it takes a while to obtain it because it is more than halfway through the task. Once Valkyrie Elysium players enter the castle and see the emblem for the Verdant Blossom on the map, they will know they are on the right path. As with the second Verdant Blossom in Chapter 4, players must ascend and descend floors in order to circumvent a blocked door in order to reach the Verdant Blossom.
Players of Valkyrie Elysium must enter the room above and then descend to the room below. A switch on the side of the wall will unlock the gate leading to the seventh Verdant Blossom.
Verdant Blossom: Chapter 8
There is a tiny puzzle between Valkyrie Elysium players and the eighth Verdant Blossom, as it is located on the other side of a toxic lake. Near the water’s edge, there are several crystals on ledges that can be reached by pressing “L2.” After utilizing numerous of these crystals, players will arrive on the opposite side of the lake, where the Verdant Blossom is located. The same crystals can also be used to return after acquiring the Verdant Blossom.
Valkyrie Elysium: Verdant Blossom: Chapter 9
The ninth Verdant Blossom only appears in Chapter 9 if all eight previous blossoms have been collected. The final Verdant Blossom is located in a little alcove, and locating it is rather simple due to the chapter’s plain map.
At this moment, players will be able to read all of the Verdant Blossoms’ messages, and a cinematic will play upon retrieval.
