Respawn Entertainment today released a new Update for Apex Legends. Below are the full patch notes for this January 14 update.
The Apex Update 1.56 can now be downloaded and installed for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. On the PS4, the download size is 294 MB, depending on the platform.

We’ve pushed out a patch that improves stability and (hopefully) fixes the freezing issues. This issue in particular has been tricky for us to pin down consistently, but we are hopeful that we have addressed most of the cases where it happens.
