A few hours ago, Activision and Treyarch first launched the private Beta for the Battle Royale Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 – Blackout game on PlayStation 4. We also did a first round in Blackout, we are thrilled!
However, shortly after Blackout started, there was a lot of feedback on the “Blackout” beta, so the developers have already released a list of planned changes based on the feedback received so far.
The players have mainly complained that the speed of collecting objects is too high. To do this, the players must stand exactly above the item and press the corresponding button, which slows down the otherwise high game speed. The developers promise to improve this point.
We can not confirm this point, it was no problem for us to take objects! Here is the list of planned blackout adjustments:
- Picking up objects: The speed to take items should be increased. It should also be possible to take the items without looking at them closely.
- Quick Equip Menu: Certain actions are not possible when Quick Equip Menu is open. The problem is to be solved by automatically closing the menu if no entry has been made for 5 seconds. It should be noted that the menu can be closed by pressing the Down button on the D-pad.
- Armor: You can see exactly what influence the use of armor has in the game and will make adjustments if necessary.
- Friendly Fire: Treyarch is aware that team kills accidentally and intentionally. One observes the situation and would like to take measures if players become conspicuous. For this purpose among other things hit statistics for each player are led, which are supervised accordingly.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" will be released on October 12 for the PS4, the Xbox One and the PC. Below you can see our first gameplay:
