Call of Duty Black Ops 4 – Blackout mode is free to play

Throughout April, Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s blackout mode can be played for free, as Activision and Treyarch have announced.

Activision and Treyarch give players the chance this month to take a detailed look at Blackout mode from “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4”. The popular Battle Royale mode can be played for free on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in April. However, a PS Plus subscription is required for PS4 players.

The free-to-play version of the “Call of Duty Black Ops 4” blackout mode will be available free of charge during the period from April 2 to April 30, 2019. Already before, there was no free phase for blackout, but not as long as this time. For free access was official:

“The free trial of Blackout includes all the intense action from the game mode, bringing together characters, locations, weapons and gear from the entire Black Ops series in the typical gameplay that fans know and love.”

Activision and Treyarch gave the indication of the current free phase at the end of the new trailer, in which the new blackout card “Alcatraz” is presented. The new map will also be made available today so that this innovation can be tried out for free by all players.

The download is currently not available in the PSN Store. However, the possibility should be supplemented throughout the day. Until then, you can get yourself a little taste with the fresh trailer:
