Call of Duty Black Ops 4: Infected mode starts today on the PlayStation 4

As the Treyarach developers announced, the popular Infected mode is making a comeback in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. For the time being, however, the whole thing only applies to the PlayStation 4 version of the first-person shooter.

In the course of a recent tweet, the responsible developers of Treyarch pointed out that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 community in the course of today happy about new content.

It starts with the “Alcatraz” card for “Blackout”, the Battle Royal mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. After the time-exclusive start on the PlayStation 4, the new map is now available on the Xbox One and the PC. As already confirmed a few days ago, the path in “Alcatraz” leads to a mist-shrouded island with a variety of environments, all leading to the large cell tract on a hill.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4: The Infected mode returns

The second major innovation that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 players can look forward to throughout the day is the infected mode known from various other shooters. Due to a corresponding exclusive deal between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Activision, “Infected” will initially only be available on the PlayStation 4. The Xbox One and the PC will follow later.

But what’s the new mode about? In “Infected”, all players who are killed by an infected player are also infected and chase down “healthy” players. Who was not infected after the time limit, has won the round.

Rounding out today’s content update to “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4” of additional skill divisions for League Play and other content, for which there are no specific details. So let yourself be surprised.
