Activision and the responsible developers of Sledgehammer Games have unveiled the fourth (and the last) expansion of the first-person shooter Call of Duty: WWII. The new “Shadow War” DLC will be released on PlayStation 4 on August 28, 2018, and includes three new multiplayer maps, another War Mode mission, and the final chapter of the Zombies campaign.
The developers want to push the boundaries of fiction and surprise the players with creativity. The new multiplayer maps include “Airship“, “Chancellery” and “Excavation“. All these maps are located at locations of the enemy troops. With “Operation Arcane” the players travel in war mode into the Austrian mountains and infiltrate a secret research facility, stealing secrets and destroying the UFO hangar. You can also use a Tesla weapon and a mysterious super-soldier serum.
