On December 13, 2022, Square Enix will release Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion for the PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Aesthetics Have Been Fully Redone
In 2008, Final Fantasy 7 was initially released for the PSP. The game’s aesthetics have been fully redone, including adding new 3D models. The soundtrack has also been changed, and the speech in the game is all voiced.
Sephiroth and the Turks
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 features Zack Fair, a member of SOLDIER who subsequently befriends Cloud Strife and Aerith, and is set seven years before the events of the groundbreaking PSOne RPG from 1997. Other well-known characters in the game include Sephiroth and the Turks.
Final thoughts
Square Enix is also working on the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth sequel, the second installment of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake project. The game is scheduled to launch on PS5 in the winter of 2023.
