CD Projekt RED unveiled Phantom Liberty today. CDPR claims this is the “single planned” Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, so don’t expect more.
Phantom Liberty is a “spy-thriller” that brings back Silverhand. New characters are added. The action takes place in a new region of Night City. Night City fans may be dissatisfied. Fans may make up for it by modifying the game (at least on PC).
With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for current-gen platforms and the Cyberpunk 2077 fine-tuning planned, further Phantom Liberty DLC might stretch the crew.
The update 1.6 is the final significant patch for PS4 and Xbox One, CD Projekt Red confirmed. This upgrade adds wearable Edgerunners items.
The game’s release didn’t start well in December 2020, but it sold 18 million copies, making it a popular RPG. Phantom Liberty will be released in 2023 for PS5, X|S, PC, and Stadia. CD Projekt Red ceased updating PS4 and Xbox One.
