Cyberpunk 2077: With its concurrent player count increasing daily and its sales numbers now placing it first on Steam’s most recent Top Sellers directory, ahead of the upcoming Modern Warfare II and FIFA 23, Cyberpunk 2077’s rebirth will not slow down.
DLC expansion
Since a few weeks ago, there has been a considerable increase in the number of players in Cyberpunk 2077, and two key elements are most likely to blame. The game will receive a DLC expansion dubbed Phantom Liberty, developed by CD Projekt Red, earlier this month. Furthermore, It will include a new neighborhood in the open world and a new narrative inspired by American spy novels.
Cyberpunk 2077: The concurrent player count keeps growing
Benji-Sales, a Twitter user, had been monitoring Steam’s peak concurrent player count for the previous week. The game’s top player count was 78,478 on September 19. It currently stands at 136,724 for September 25. In addition, he noted that the game had surpassed The Witcher 3’s peak concurrent player count of 103,329, almost two years after the latter’s release.
