The last update for Days Gone was released on January 27th. A new patch is now available for download, we will have all the information about this update on October 28th.
The Days Gone Update 1.70 can now be downloaded and installed. The file size is a huge 23 GB!
Such a big update and so far no details about the patch, other than the usual PS4 notes:
We assume that Days Gone has now also received PS5 backwards compatibility. We’ll keep you up to date.

Due to cross platform/cross compatibility between ps4 and ps5, any updates made to make the game work better on ps5 would also be applied to the ps4 version. Remember, the ps4 version is the ps5 version as well.
It will if you put your game data on an external hard drive you can take that external hard drive and it move it over to the PS5
Bullcrap. No tech training journalism. This is not a PS5 update. It’s being installed on PS4 where the PS4 game is installed. When you instal the game on PS5, you will use the retail disc and then download a patch to PS5, or download the whole thing new if you bought it digitally. No updates on the PS4 will be transfered to PS5.
