Deathloop Likely Coming On Xbox Soon

Deathloop, a timed-exclusive game available only on the PlayStation 5 from September 14th, 2022, was launched late last year. Xbox users may not have to wait too long now that the specified date has arrived.

Deathloop: Available on PS Plus this month

The Deathloop cover art is displayed in a pop-up window on the Xbox dashboard, along with a pre-order button. Unfortunately, when clicked as of this writing, nothing happens. However, it should be treated with more than just a grain of salt.

The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has claimed that he will still uphold the existing agreements between Sony and Bethesda. Meanwhile, PlayStation recently confirmed that it would be available to PS Plus users on the 20th of this month.

Coming soon on Xbox Series

The PlayStation 5 was the only platform for which Deathloop was first created. The developer went all out for console-only features, such as the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers and capabilities, which let gamers physically experience everything from gunfire to distant fireworks to walkie-talkie communications.

Deathloop’s developers, Bethesda, were later acquired by Microsoft, which further increased rumors that the game would eventually be released for the Xbox Series X|S.

Final thoughts

Deathloop is known for allowing players to approach missions in any way they see fit, making it ideal for those who prefer quick gameplay bursts versus sitting through lengthy sessions and cutscenes.

Xbox has also confirmed to be joining the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, so an official announcement regarding Xbox may be made soon. Let us know your sentiments on this one below!
