Destiny 2: Maintenance on March 19 - Update 2.8.0.1

Destiny 2 usually releases new updates on regular days. But today there is unscheduled maintenance work, the servers go offline and Hotfix 2.8.0.1 will be installed. We have all the information!

Destiny 2 Server Down on March 19th – Update 2.8.0.1

So far there is little information about today’s update. On Twitter, it was reported that the update included a fix, which disable Artifact Power in Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner.

It is not known at the moment whether it will be a pure server update or whether we should also download Destiny 2 Patch 1.48. As soon as Bungie releases more information and patch notes 2.8.0.1, we will report back to you!

Destiny 2 downtime on March 19

9:00 AM PDT	1600 UTC	Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance for Hotfix 2.8.0.1. Some Destiny API features on Bungie.net, mobile and third-party apps will be disabled.
9:45 AM PDT	1645 UTC	Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. At 10 AM PDT, Hotfix 2.8.0.1 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2 at 10:00 AM PDT.
10:00 AM PDT	1700 UTC	Destiny 2 Hotfix 2.8.0.1 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue, and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
11:00 AM PDT	1800 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Console players who encounter issues updating to Hotfix 2.8.0.1 should restart their console and try downloading the update.
