Destiny 2 servers go offline – update 2.2.0.1 announced

Bungie has announced on the official site that today, March 12, Destiny 2 Update 2.2.0.1 will be released. As part of the release, the Destiny 2 servers will go offline.

Whether we need to download Destiny 2 Client Patch 1.34 today, or if it’s a pure server update, we’ll find out in just a few hours.

Destiny 2 maintenance times – Update 2.2.0.2

8:00 AM PDT 1500 UTC
  • Destiny 2 maintenance is scheduled to begin
  • Some Destiny Companion features may be unavailable on the Web, Mobile, and Third-Party Apps
9:00 AM PDT 1600 UTC
  • Hotfix 2.2.0.1 has begun rolling out across all platforms and regions.
9:45 AM PDT 1645 UTC
  • Players remaining in activities at this time have been returned to the title screen
11:00 AM PDT 1800 UTC
  • Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude
  • Destiny Companion features have been re-enabled on Web, Mobile, and Third-Party Apps.
  • Players who encounter issues should report them to the #Help forum

 

Changes with Update 2.2.0.1

The complete patch notes will be provided as soon as Bungie releases them. So far, the following customizations and bug fixes are known:

  • Problems with the Weekly Bountys and the Weekly-Reset have been fixed
  • Problems with the “Malfeasance” and “Breakneck” in Gambit and Gambit-Prime have been fixed.
  • The issue where the “The Best Attack” triumph did not count the correct number of created spheres of light has been fixed.
  • The problem that some Primeval envoys disappeared in Gambit Prime has been fixed.
