Destiny 2: Update 2.7.0.1 Announced – December 17th Maintenance

Destiny 2 will get the new update 2.7.0.1 today, on December 17, on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. In the course of this there is maintenance, accompanied by a server down.

At Destiny 2, the winter event “The Dawning” starts on December 17th. Before you can devote yourself to the Christmas festivities, you must first download an update (PS4 Update 1.45). We’ll show you how today’s maintenance works.

8:00 AM PST
  • Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance for Update 2.7.0.1.
8:45 AM PST
  • Players in Destiny 2 will be removed from activities and will be unable to log in until 9 AM.
  • Some Destiny API features on Bungie.net, mobile and third-party apps will be disabled.
9:00 AM PST
  • Destiny 2 will be brought back online.
  • Destiny 2 Update 2.7.0.1 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions.
  • Users may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
  • A sign-on queue may appear when players attempt to log in.
11:00 AM PST
  • Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude.
  • Console players who encounter issues updating to Update 2.7.0.1 should restart their console and try downloading the update.
