Destiny 2 Update 2.8.0.2 Announced - Server Down March 31st

Bungie has announced the next Destiny 2 update. We have all information about the update and the server downtime on March 31, 2020.

>Destiny 2 Update 2.8.0.2 will be released tomorrow, March 31st. To apply the update, the Destiny 2 servers will be offline and maintenance work will be carried out.

At the moment we do not know whether it will be a pure server update or whether we also have to download a patch. This would be Client Patch 1.48 on the PS4.

Destiny 2 Server Down on March 31st

9:00 AM PDT	1600 UTC	Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance for Hotfix 2.8.0.2. Some Destiny API features on Bungie.net, mobile and third-party apps will be disabled.
9:45 AM PDT	1645 UTC	Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. At 10 AM PDT, Hotfix 2.8.0.2 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2 at 10:00 AM PDT.
10:00 AM PDT	1700 UTC	Destiny 2 Hotfix 2.8.0.2 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue, and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
11:00 AM PDT	1800 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Console players who encounter issues updating to Hotfix 2.8.0.2 should restart their console and try downloading the update.
