Destiny Update 3.2.1 Announced - Solstice of Heroes begins

Bungie has announced the next major update for Destiny 2, with the return of the free event “Solstice of Heroes”, offering Guardians a chance for fame, fortune, armor, a Legendary weapon and more!

Destiny 2 Update 3.2.1 will be released on July 6th. However, there will also be maintenance work on this day. You can find all details about server downtime below.

The Solstice of Heroes celebrates those who always defended the Last City. This celebration returns to Destiny 2 on July 6th. Guardians around the world can head to the European Deadly Zone to defeat bosses and open chests. The Solstice of Heroes is a free event for all players where they can receive class-specific armor. This can be upgraded with a glow that drives away the darkness.

Destiny 2 Server Down on July 6th

9:00 AM PDT	1600 UTC	Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance for Update 3.2.1. Some Destiny API features on Bungie.net, mobile and third-party apps will be disabled. No sign-in to the Bungie.net site or apps will be possible.
9:45 AM PDT	1645 UTC	Destiny 2 will be brought offline for expected maintenance. Players will be removed from activities and won’t be able to log back into Destiny 2 until 10 AM PDT. At 10 AM PDT, Update 3.2.1 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions. Ongoing Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude at 11 AM PDT.
10:00 AM PDT	1700 UTC	Destiny 2 Update 3.2.1 will be available across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue, and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing.
11:00 AM PDT	1800 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Console players who encounter issues updating to Update 3.2.1 should restart their console and try downloading the update.
