It’s almost a week since the doors have opened into the Dreamlight Valley magical world of Disney, the life simulator that lets the player enter into many of Pixar’s most iconic worlds and engage with fan-favorite characters. Furthermore, the media giant plans to expand its recent game into new territory, and you may have got a friend (or two) in it.
Explore the world of Woody and Buzz Light year
A short trailer for the game shown at the Disney and Marvel Game presented earlier this weekend opened by featuring some of the settings and characters already existing in-game, such as Moana, Goofy, and WALL-E, before skipping over to a door marked with the outline of Little Green Men from Pixar Studios’ most prized franchise. As it goes on, the trailer glances at Woody’s cowboy hat and Buzz Lightyear’s jet pack before shrinking the player avatar down to toy size and putting her in a kid’s bedroom while the music shifts from tinkling chimes to something more similar to Randy Newman’s classic score. In addition to adding Buzz and Woody to your roster of characters, the trailer also shows you’ll be able to unlock options for clothing.
Dreamlight Valley: Meet new characters
With such a huge library of successful movies from which to pull new worlds and characters, it shouldn’t be surprising that Disney can expand the scope of Dreamlight Valley more. The trailer’s last shot includes Stitch, The Lion King’s notorious villain Scar, and Experiment 626, neither of whom were included in the game at launch, so you should be prepared for future updates if you don’t want to be left behind.Â
