Bethesda and the responsible developers today released Update 1.28 for Fallout 76, we have the full patch notes for this update on September 17th.
Fallout 76 Patch 1.28 is 1.49 GB in size, on the PS4. Depending on the platform, the size of the download may be different.
Bethesda has spontaneously announced maintenance, the Fallout 76 servers are currently offline.

PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY
- Controls: Addressed an issue that could cause the game controls to become unresponsive when exiting a set of Power Armor.
- Stability: Addressed an issue that could cause a server crash.
USER INTERFACE
- Social: Players no longer lose their ability to interact with the Social menu if it was open when a they added or removed a friend.
