EA announced that the fictional football team AFC Richmond and the character Ted Lasso would be featured in FIFA 23.

Electronic Arts shared the information via its EA Sports Twitter account. A new trailer featuring Lasso and AFC Richmond on the field before a few prominent footballers make brief cameo appearances.
The home stadium from the show, Nelson Road, will also be present in FIFA 23, and Coach Beard will, of course, be there.

In both FUT and career mode, Lasso and Beard will be accessible as your playable manager or coach. In contrast, FUT, career mode, kickoff, online friendlies, and online seasons will all be accessible for AFC Richmond.
Coming soon on Playstation and Xbox
