Final Fantasy 7 Remake is one of Square Enix’s hottest games for the PS4. Announced a long time ago, when the E3 2015 fans thrilled, as the players had long called for a Final Fantasy 7 remake.
However, after the first gameplay trailer released at the PSX 2015, news about Final Fantasy 7 Remake fell silent. So far everyone thought the FF7R will be released in 2020 at the earliest.
But that could all change, Square Enix made a clear point to the Final Fantasy 7 remake release, so it might appear sooner than people think.
Shinjuku-based Japanese gaming giant has released its latest financial results. They show that they are aiming for a significant increase in sales in the third quarter of the current financial year.
This would be between October and December 2019.
Fans are already speculating that this huge increase in sales may be due to the release of the Final Fantasy 7 remake during this period.
Commenting on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Reddit, Reddit wrote: “Square has just released an investor briefing expecting a significant increase in sales in the third quarter of its 2020 fiscal year.“
That means between October and December 2019. They expect 40-50 billion yen, which is twice as high as in Q2 and Q3 of 2018 together.
