According to Gematsu, when Yoshida appeared on stage to accept Square Enix’s Future Division award from Tokyo Game Show 2022, he had the opportunity to respond to a few questions about Final Fantasy XVI. When asked about his prior assurance that new information on the game would arrive in Fall 2022, the producer said we could anticipate a new trailer within the next few weeks.
