Fortnite 3.70 Patch Notes update to version 22.10 today

Fortnite 3.70: The first major content update for Season 4 was finally released today (October 4), which upgrades the game to version 22.10.

Yesterday, Fortnite players are patiently waiting after the official Fortnite Status Twitter account notified them that the new update’s emergency downtime will further begin earlier than expected. Downtime was presumed to begin at 4 a.m. ET, but Epic Games revealed shortly after the official statement that it would start earlier, resulting in more than 10 hours of system modifications.

Fortunately, the servers have been restored, and a new update of Fortnite 3.70 is already accessible for download.

Fortnite 3.70: MISCELLANEOUS CHANGES

-Boogie Bombs has risen to the top of non-competitive and competitive playlists.

-Previously, most one-handed Pickaxes, such as the Gum Brawler and Tribute’s Flail, would fly into the player’s hand and equip. In v22.10, it is changed to a new equip animation.

-Recently released a balance hotfix for EvoChrome Shotguns and EvoChrome Burst Rifles, in case you missed it:

  • Their floor loot is now more plentiful.
  • Chrome and regular Chests now contain Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary versions.
  • The amount of damage required to upgrade an EvoChrome weapon at each rarity tier has been significantly reduced.

IMPORTANT BUG FIXES

  • Players using a controller can now consistently traverse the inventory using the left thumbstick.
  • While bending down, Lennox Rose’s hair no longer interrupts the mouse cursor.
  • When gradually phasing through Chrome-ified structures at Herald’s Sanctum, players mustn’t get trapped.
  • When the fire is extinguished, chrome-ified building pieces end up losing their “on fire” visual effects.
  • Fixed a bug that caused motion graphics from a Chrome Vortex to remain under certain conditions.
  • On mobile, the “Reset to last saved position” option in the HUD Layout Tool returns all buttons to their last saved position.
