Epic Games announces a new Fortnite update! Tomorrow will shut down the servers, client update v5.40.2 will be released.
After the Fortnite Update v5.40 was online, there were more problems. Many players reported poor FPS and could barely play. These bugs should be fixed with patch 1.77, but Epic Games does not seem to have everything under control yet.
If a Fortnite patch appears tomorrow, it will be patch 1.78. Beware, Epic Games says this will not be a content update to 5.40.
Usually, maintenance was always done around 0800 GMT, not tomorrow. The servers will go offline at 0600 GMT.
