Epic Games has revealed the time to launch Season 10 in Fortnite! Tomorrow, around 4 AM ET (0800 UTC) on August 1, the Fortnite servers will be offline to deploy Update 10.0 and Patch 2.30.
The date and the patch will be released early this evening on Twitter. How long the maintenance will continue was not mentioned.
The version number “Fortnite v10.0” is not yet confirmed. At every season start, the version number was adjusted to the current season, so the next update version should be the v10.0. Epic Games has also pointed out that the Client Patch 2.30 will be larger than the normal updates, so be prepared for a longer download. So far there are not many details about Fortnite Season 10, but a small trailer has been posted on Twitter:
