Epic Games announced the next Fortnite update a few minutes ago! We have all information about the release and the server downtime!
According to the official Twitter announcement, Fortnite Update 12.61 will be released tomorrow. To apply the update, the Fortnite servers are switched off.
The servers will be switched off on May 26 at 2 AM ET (0600 UTC), you will then no longer be able to log into the game! Shortly after that, update 12.61 will be released and you will need to download a patch, which will be patch 2.72 on the PS4.
Maintenance work is expected to be completed around 4 AM ET. Once Fortnite Patch 2.72 has been released, we will provide you with the full patch notes!
