Many players are eagerly awaiting the Fortnite Update 5.40, unfortunately Epic Games has postponed the release again.
The update 5.40 to Fortnite (Patch 1.76) will now be released on Thursday the 6th of September. The reason for the delay should be some bugs and critical problems with the controller.
Whether the update has 5.40 impact on the start of the 9th week in Season 5 is currently unclear. With the postponement of the update will also start the event High Stakes, which will also be unlocked on Thursday.
