PS4 and PS5 Players may pre-order God of War Ragnarok on the PlayStation Store, and the game is coming out on November 9.
God of War Ragnarok: The Svartalfheim level
A new gameplay video for God of War Ragnarok has been revealed as part of the Game Informer cover story, showcasing the Svartalfheim level. The video goes over how the level designer crafted this new realm and gives a better look at God of War Ragnarok’s environment while featuring a new glimpse at the gameplay. Strange devices, mine pits, geysers, and more will challenge Kratos and Atreus to get through the environment unscathed.
Kratos’ multifunctional tool set
For a better Svartalfheim experience, players must rely on Kratos’ multifunctional toolset: His weapons and, of course, his son. In the gameplay, Kratos froze splattering, dismantled steaming pots and geysers, and supervised Atreus to swindle with out-of-reach devices.
The new realm
When recalling the initial intentions and mindset behind crafting interactions in the new realm, Hickenbottom stated, “We wanted to show off the dwarves and what they’ve been doing here. They’re using water to propel and move things. Even throughout the different biomes, you can see the dwarves creating huge environments. And then when Kratos comes in, it’s like, how does he bend the environment to his will?”
