Like A Dragon: On October 7, the playable demo for Like A Dragon: Ishin will debut at TwitchCon.
Like A Dragon: The release date
Ishin is set for February 2023 for the PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. Similar to Yakuza: Kenzan from 2008, the game was first released in February 2014 for PS4 and PS3; however, it was never released outside of Japan.
Ishin will not get an English dub
Following the release of the game, RGG Studio declared that Like A Dragon: Ishin will not get an English dub and provided the following justification for this choice:
The statement
“From all our fan feedback, many fans wanted an Ishin remake more than Kenzan. We also believed that Ishin was more popular, and if we wanted to bring in the Kenzan remake, we would want to change the storyline a little bit, which would take a lot of time and be budget-consuming. It needs good timing for us to consider a remake of Kenzan.”
