The developers of Minecraft have today released a Bedrock 1.16.1 Hotfix Update. Below you will find all the details of this update on July 16.
Minecraft Update 2.10 can now be downloaded. In total you have to download and install 188 MB.

After installing, Minecraft refuses to launch at all on my PS4. I get to the Mojang screen but no further. I’ve restarted my system and changed internet.
You have to delete minecraft and re install it for it to work
You have to uninstall the game mate
You have to Uninstall Minecraft, you then have to reinstall the game. If you have the disc delete Minecraft, then take the disc out and put it back in. If you don’t have the disc but you still have the game, delete Minecraft then go to your library, then go to purchased, select Minecraft, and download.
You have to delete and reinstall the game but still we shouldn’t have to do this. For such a highly spoke of game on bedrock edition it’s insane the amount of bugs and crashes. I’ve had to restart my survival world 4 times before I even get to the end because of an online connection glitch related to the world or it just gets corrupted by multiple crashes

It’s not even giving me the update. I’ve restarted my Xbox, I’ve uninstalled then reinstalled my game, I updated my Xbox and still nothing. If anyone can help or is going through the same comment. I was meant to fight the Wither 4 times today 🙁
Its a PS4 only update mate

Minecraft has been stuck ever since version 2.07 was downloaded on my ps4. It will show the mojang logo and get stuck there. I have been downloading the new updates but nothing has seemed to help.
This happens sometime to me. When it does, I delete and reinstall the game, and the issue is fixed.
This was the same issue i had, but i deleted the game,(not the save files) and re downloaded it and never had this issue again. It was WAY before the nether update came out. I have seen other people with this same thing come up after it happened to me, and this was my “fix” for it.
I downloaded the new update and it did nothing to fix the loading screen issue, I can’t even get into the game anymore.
Delete your minecraft and reinstall it. Worked for me, but I do have it on a disc.
I mean okay i agree ps4 mc is a bit more stable but what i really want to know is why haven’t they been working on servers like ive been waiting for 6 months do yeah im getting really bored.

Would you rather have the game stable or be in servers that would always crash because you want servers more then the game being stable
Game constantly crashes and in one crash I had an issue where I was placing my netherite tools in a shulker to put in my end chest. Once I closed the shulker the game crashed and all my tools disappeared. I guess it’s back to blowing up the nether.
Yep, I’ve had the same thing happen a couple times. It’s super annoying

Game now takes an age to load in and i can’t load my profile after the update
All you have to do is delete and reinstall the game and it fix the problem for a while don’t worry about losing save data it won’t affect it
Hopefully they fixed the crash whenever i play local coop. It’s annoying

Go to the PlayStation settings – storage – system storage – saved data – minecraft, then there should be a file named “corrupted data” near the top, delete that file and then it should be good to go. Every time your minecraft keeps crashing just do this and it should fix it.
