Activision appears to have begun development on the Modern Warfare 2 beta client. The beta has been made available.
The beta size and the PlayStation Network client have been revealed. The file size ranges from 15 to 30GB, depending on platform and locale.
EU appears to have the greatest amount of data available for download. This is a substantial beta download.
Because Activision is known for providing betas with a lot of content, the beta should be updated.
We’ve only seen leaks of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. Expect comparable game types to prior COD games. Classic modes like Team Deathmatch and Search and Destroy are expected, but we may also get Gun Game and the reported DMZ option.
There are also new mobility elements, such as a ledge hang that lets you fire while hanging over a ledge and the ability to dive forward while rushing to avoid danger.
PlayStation 4 early access beta begins on September 16. Call of Duty Next will debut multiplayer and Warzone 2.0 on September 15.
On October 28, 2022, Modern Warfare 2 will be released on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC.
