Modern Warfare 2: recent beta was the biggest in the franchise’s history, Call of Duty has confirmed. The beta reportedly had the most hours played and matches played, and the most significant number of players a Call of Duty beta has ever seen.
Gain access to the full campaign
Call of Duty said the recently concluded beta was “one for the record books” as it was the biggest beta in Call of Duty history. “This was only a slice of all the new content coming in Modern Warfare II when it launches this fall,” Activision said in their latest blog post. The next time players can get their hands on Modern Warfare 2 is when it launches on October 28th.
A week before the game’s official release, players who pre-order Modern Warfare II before launch will have access to the entire campaign. Then, on November 16th, a few weeks later, Warzone 2.0 will debut.
