Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was released without a singleplayer campaign and developers focused on Battle Royale mode. This is set to change with Modern Warfare 2019, there will be a classic campaign again, and recent rumors have it that Battle Royale mode is coming.
Youtuber “TheGamingRevolution” claims to have learned from credible sources that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” will also receive a Battle Royale mode. That would be surprising, since the previous information on the new shooter suggested that is waived on such a component. That is, the latest rumor should not be too much on the gold scale.
This also applies to the alleged details of the possible Battle Royale mode: According to the statement of the Youtuber he supports in the current version 152 players. For the final version, the developers are even aiming for 200 participants. It also states that the Battle Royale map will be three times bigger than the “Blackout” battlefield in “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4“.
While Activision and Infinity Ward have failed to validate or deny yet, it is unclear how credible the latest rumor is about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. On the other hand, the shooter will hit the market on October 25, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
