Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, including new hunter actions, characters, maps (including the improved Forlorn Arena), and more. The Astalos, Espinas, and Gore Magala are the highlight of the update’s plethora of new monsters. However, there is a trend among the new monsters: an overload of Fire-type monsters.
Monster Hunter Rise
When Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was first released, 13 new creatures were added, not including the three Lords or the end boss. These 13 monsters include five Fire monsters. There are two Water monsters, two Thunder monsters, one Ice monster, and two Dragon monsters, to put it into perspective (with the remaining monster not using any element). That is substantially greater than the second most represented component.
Capcom won’t be letting up on the Fire monsters soon
More monsters were included through free title upgrades following the release of Sunbreak. The first free update contained four creatures, three of which were Fire monsters. Capcom won’t be letting up on the Fire monsters soon, given that two of the three creatures in the second free update were also revealed to be Fire.
The world of creatures as we currently know it might be greatly expanded in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, providing an engaging experience for players. When they emphasize including Fire monsters without allowing others a chance to stand out, that promise isn’t being achieved.
Bottomline
As the other free upgrades are released, you can only hope that something will change. Prepare your Fire-Res armor and Water weaponry till then because those are the major items you’ll need in Sunbreak’s jungles.
