NBA 2K23 update 1.007 had already been issued for current-gen platforms (PS5, Xbox Series X|S). Definitely it is just a relatively small download for the game. NBA 2K23 Update 1.007 is only 377.4 Megabytes on such PS5, however the size for the Xbox Series X|S update is still unknown.

Visual Concepts does not appear to have recognized the update yet, which has enraged the public. We’re expecting that it will adapt throughout the whole day. The latter seems to be an exclusive next-gen update. The current-gen versions of NBA 2K23 on Xbox One and PS4 haven’t yet acquired a patch today. Though it may do so in the next few hours. Even so, 2K really hasn’t released any authorized Update 1.007 Patch Notes outlining accurately whatever this update attempts to address.
Based on the relatively small size of PS5 download, just small matters and basic mobility developments are likely to have been acknowledged. Other issues, such as those related to Core Badges and controller settings reconfigure, have been raised by NBA players, and they hope that they will be answered this time.
Sadly, 2K’s lack of accountability is only enraging players who are experiencing problems while playing the game.
