Nioh 2: The Tengu’s Disciple First DLC launched today

The long awaited first DLC The Tengu’s Disciple of Nioh 2 has been launched today. Team Ninja designed the difficult of this DLC is around Level 120, all players who have completed the main game should have no problems at all but if you prefer to play at a lower or higher level there is an option as well.

Koei Tecmo said that the DLC offers around 10 hours of content. With this DLC, Nioh 2 is getting a new storyline, new weapons and abilities. The Story is based on the Genpei War, which was a national civil war in Japan from 1180 to 1185. Right with the release of The Tengu’s Disciple, the game is getting a free update of Patch 1.11 (regardless of whether you bought the DLC or not) which will add the new Demon Parade Pictrue Srcoll element.

  • A new hack’n’slash mode that allows players to clear scroll missions for equipment. Players can also obtain scrolls from other users through multiplayer
  • More parts for avatar creation
  • Yokai Shift enhancements
  • Option to continue after failing co-op stages
  • Option to change the motion for entering host springs and more

Team Ninja already confirmed two more DLC expansions for Nioh 2. The second launch will be this fall but there is no timeframe about the third DLC.
