Resident Evil: Four games launching on Nintendo Switch this Fall

Resident Evil: Four games launching on Nintendo Switch this Fall

Resident Evil Village, a critically acclaimed 2021 game, will be available this autumn on Nintendo Switch systems.

The game will be available in the cloud. Nintendo has done this before because the weak device can only run more recent games with demanding graphics. This indicates that Players won’t download the Switch version of the game. Instead, it will be streamed to your device over the internet. Therefore a strong connection is required to prevent latency problems. On October 28, 2022, Resident Evil Village will be available on the Nintendo Switch.

Resident Evil: Free demo on Nintendo Eshop

Right now, you may download a free demo from the Nintendo eShop. Fans may test the game’s value without having to pay anything by using their current internet speed. The previously unveiled Winter’s Expansion will be accessible for Switch on December 2, 2022, according to a separate announcement from Nintendo.

Coming soon on Switch

The expansion is scheduled to release on October 28, coincidentally the same day the base game launches on Switch. This will have a 2-month delay in release compared to other platforms. In the Shadows of Rose campaign story included in this DLC, you take on the role of Ethan’s daughter of Resident Evil 7 and 8.

Final thoughts

That’s not all, either. Biohazard, 2 Remake, and 3 Remake are just a few current games that will soon have cloud versions available on Switch. All games would release at the end of this year, though devs mentioned no exact release dates. Resident Evil 4 will be remade, and Capcom previously announced Summer Game Fest that it will be released on March 24, 2023.

Although there has been no word on this game’s Switch release, this announcement does raise the potential of a Switch cloud version.
