Rockstar waved farewell to Red Dead Redemption 2

Rockstar waved farewell to Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in November 2018 for Xbox One and Play Station 4.

Rockstar won’t focus on Red Dead Redemption 2 Anymore

RDR 2 and Red Dead Online receive a fond goodbye from Rockstar following a new update to GTA Online and GTA V.

It reads: “Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped create RDR 2 and Red Dead Online.” While it’s not known if this is merely to acknowledge those who worked on the games. Many fans are taking this as Rockstar’s goodbye to RDR 2.

Bottomline

It wasn’t a surprise, as Rockstar has established that it is now working on GTA VI. And that it won’t be bringing any more content updates to Red Dead Online this year. Fans have already expressed their dismay about the lack of updates. The game was haunted with content draughts and periods of inactivity — besides battle passes — in life, and now it sits in limbo. Only time can tell whether the community the game has attracted sticks around or strikes out for a brighter future somewhere else.
