The Divine Force opens in its entirety on October 27, Square Enix and developer tri-Ace are getting ready to release a demo. According to the publisher, the demo edition will have two hours of gameplay, beginning when Raymond, one of the characters, sets out on a mission to fight against the darkness and concluding when he arrives in Delyrk Village. However, there is no information on whether the player progression will be carried over to the base game upon launch.

Famitsu revealed ten minutes of gameplay for Star Ocean: The Divine Force earlier today in conjunction with the introduction of the demo version. This playtime included fresh battle videos and daily activities like dining, trade, and NPC interactions. The trailer also demonstrates how a clue section would appear on the right side of the screen when a player encounters an adversary, providing them with details about the creatures in front of them.
