Behind The Sims Summit

On October 18 at 10 AM PT, a special “Behind The Sims Summit” will go live stream, during which the creators will release additional information about what’s in the works.

EA will release more details next month, but they will continue to develop and release packs, kits, and Sims Delivery Express drops into the foreseeable future.”

Free Desert Luxe Kit

When member-only bundles of The Sims 4 enter The Play List on October 18, you’ll get an improved experience if you’re an EA Play or EA Play Pro member. Additionally, the Desert Luxe Kit will be free to everyone who purchases The Sims 4 between now and October 17.

With the Desert Luxe Kit, Sims can unwind in their contemporary haven with opulent indoor and outdoor furnishings inspired by the Southwestern desert’s natural surroundings and made of stone and wood. According to EA, gamers only need to enter the game to access the free bundle, which will then appear in the main menu.

Bottomline

The Sims 4 base game is free to play, but all previously released (and future) expansions will require players to purchase to access the additional content. It’s hardly surprising that they chose to make The Sims 4’s base game free to play because expansion packs and kits are a crucial component of the experience.
