In less than two months, the latest addition to World of Warcraft will be released. As with any extension, Battle for Azeroth will also be pre-patched to begin an event to launch the expansion, but when will the update come?
The Pre-Event to WoW: Battle for Azeroth is now active on the PTR (Blizzard Test Server), this gives rise to speculation on the date.
War of Thorns – Appointment on the 18th of July?
Why should the event “War of the Thorns” start on the 18th of July? Since the event is already active on the public test server, you can calculate a date, updates are always exactly four weeks on the PTR, until the changes are then transferred to the live server. If we expect this four-week cycle with the release on 14th August then we come to the 17th or 18th of July, on one of these two days it could be so far, “War of the Thorns” will be released on the live servers.
What awaits you with the pre-event of Battle for Azeroth?
„War of the Thorns“ is about the battle for Teldrassil. The Horde makes its way through Ashenvale and the Darkshore, leading to the complete destruction of Teldrassil, home of the night elves. Of course, the factions (Alliance and Horde) experience this story from different perspectives.
