Gourd Seeds Collectibles Locations
When you have found a seed, you must bring this item to Emma, in the Dilapidated Temple. She will then improve the Healing Gourd.
None of these collectibles can be overlooked, in the later course you can always return to all places!
Ashina Outskirts
Gourd Seed #1: Outskirts – Path to the Gate
Immediately after the idol (Checkpoint) “Outskirts Wall – Gate Path” you will meet the mini boss named General Naomori Kawarada. Defeat him and he will give you the first Gourd Seed.
Gourd Seed #2: Surroundings Wall – Stairs
The second seed can be found in the building immediately after Chained Ogre.
Gourd Seed #3: Ashina Castle Entrance
After defeating Gyoubu Oniwa, head over the battlefield and up the stairs. Instead of going into the building, you have to go around to the left and up another staircase. There you will find a small tent in which a dealer is located. He sells this Gourd Seed.

Gourd Seed #5: Ashina Castle
From the very first idol, you reach the Ashina Castle when you go to the right and jump over the roofs. Pay attention to the smoke signals on the roofs, these will show you the way. You have to get to the main tower (the tallest building on the map). When you are in the tower you will find the Gourd Seed in the small chamber, in a treasure chest.
Gourd Seed #4: Ashina Castle
Return to the first checkpoint of this region (Ashina Castle). From there it goes up, where you see 4 opponents on the stairs. Run past them and turn sharply to the right. Look at a man in a narrow alley. He asks you to kill all enemies in the area. Do this and talk to him again. Later he will appear in the Maroden Temple, then he will give you a pumpkin seed for 2000 Sen.
Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo
Gourd Seed #6: Senpou Tempel, Mt. Kongo
From the first checkpoint, follow the path where the monks walk around. This path will take you up to a temple, hold onto the wooden beam above and jump through the hole. In the room you see 3 praying monks, the Kuberissamen is there. You will come through this room no matter what. At this point in the game, Emma may not be in the temple anymore. It can now be found in the “Upper Tower – Koro’s Room”. Follow the smoke sign to find Isshin. In conversation with him, Emma becomes available in Kuro’s room.
