Gotham Knights PC minimum system requirements were added to Steam recently. They seem tougher than expected.
Steam says that players will need an Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 590 along with an Intel Core i5-9600 or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 to run the game at 60 frames per second with a 1080p resolution and the Low setting. Of course, this doesn’t mean that a weaker system couldn’t run the game, but to keep the frame rate at its highest, you will need to switch to 30fps or run the game at a lower resolution.
The game also needs 8 GB of RAM and 45 GB of free space on your hard drive or SSD. So far, the game’s developer hasn’t shared the recommended system requirements, but it would be interesting to know how much power the game needs to run at 60 frames per second on the highest setting and 4K resolution.
Gotham Knights System Requirements – Minimum
OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Processor: Intel Core i5-9600K (3.7 GHz) OR AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (3.60 GHz)
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OR AMD Radeon RX 590
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 45 GB available space
Additional Notes: 1080p / 60fps / Low Quality Settings
While we can’t judge based on system requirements alone, Gotham Knights’ high minimum system requirements may alarm PC gamers, especially after Batman Arkham Knight’s poor transfer destroyed the game for PC users. Although Gotham Knights is not developed by the same team as Arkham Knight, PC gamers won’t want the same optimization again.
The trailers for Gotham Knights look great, but recent gameplay footage shows a considerable visual deterioration. However, the minimum system need may reassure fans that the game maintains high graphics standards. The PC version should have the best graphics.
However, the Denuvo lock will prevent high-spec PCs from running the game at high frame rates.
