Square Enix will start in 2020 with some major damage control issues, with the Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo found throughout the shop. While the playable demo has not yet been officially unveiled, new details of the demo are constantly seeping into the web, including the file size.
New Final Fantasy 7 remake demo details
According to recent reports, people managed to download the Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo from Sony’s servers last week and they confirm the file size is 22.5 GB. In addition, it has been claimed that the teaser takes approximately one hour to allow players to complete the first bombing mission.
Not surprisingly, Square Enix isn’t exactly happy that the Final Fantasy 7 remake demo has gone public. Kazushige Nojima writes on Twitter: “When I see that everything has leaked after so much work, I get a stomachache.”
Final Fantasy 7 Remake is expected to be released on PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020 and will be exclusive to Sony's current generation of consoles for a year.
