505 Games announced finally the release date of Ghostrunner with a nice Pre Order Trailer. The companies also announced an updated demo of Ghostrunner, which will be available for free on Steam starting Tuesday, September 29th. Ghostrunner pre-orderers getting access to two exclusive katanas, one of which has been specially designed for the platform on which you buy it. After the launch they are “not longer available”.
Ghostrunner is a first-person action game in a dark cyberpunk setting. Similar to Mirror’s Edge, the play figure moves through the levels, jumping, climbing, sliding and wall running acrobatically and kills opponents with a futuristic katana. Both the enemy and the protagonist die with a single hit, which makes the fights as fast as the movement. The parkour system is expanded by cybernetic implants, which unlock some special abilities, for example you will be able to slow down the time.
Ghostrunner will be released on October 27, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and coming next gen consoles.
