Gran Turismo Sport Server Down on July 15 – Maintenance Notice

Polyphony Digital has announced a GT Sport Server outage for July 15 and 16. We have all the information about the maintenance work.

The Gran Turismo Sport servers will go offline on July 15/16, and maintenance will be carried out. The servers will be unavailable for 2 hours.

It seems like it’s just server maintenance, we don’t think GT Sport Update 1.61 will be released, but who knows …

Ya last time we just maintenance hopefully we get an update to the penalty system it’s way to system regarding light contact and ppl spinning themselves out when following closely it’s just stupid makes ppl made and makes them quit playing I’ve heard so many players in streams saying they no longer play GTS because of the Pen system I myself am kinda the same I hardly play dailies unless it’s a combo I love when I first started back in March of the year I played a lot the penalty system wasn’t that bad then and from what I’ve seen with every update the penalty system just gets worse and worse every update and it’s driving the good drivers away and the game is becoming toxic and frustrating to play unless you just do open lobby’s which is fun but you get nothing for it even in race for real mode which IMO you should get SR and DR pts from just like a daily that way we could still build our account without having to the dailies PD could have certain settings locked were you can’t turn them off on real race mode to make it we’re the rules are same as a daily

it says a new update will be available after the downtime, so it’s not just server maintenance
