With a user on Dealabs, a renowned source today provided the quasi-confirmation of Essentials Games for PS Plus in September 2022.
There are three games. While one game can only be tackled on the PS5, the other two titles were developed for the PS4 and can also be played on the PS5 thanks to backwards compatibility.

If the leak comes true again, which can be assumed, the following Plus Essential games await you in September 2022:
- Need for Speed Heat (PS4)
- Tome (PS5)
- Granblue Fantasy: Versus (PS4)
The Playstation Plus games are expected to be officially announced later that day. However, you cannot download the new additions afterwards without additional costs, since the activation of new PS Plus Essential games always takes place on the first Tuesday of a new month, in the most recent case on September 6, 2022.
Since switching to the three-tiered PlayStation Plus program, subscribers can be surprised twice a month. Because the extra library is also regularly expanded.
