PUBG Lite will be released soon for players with bad hardware

Do you have really bad computers, but still want to play PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds)? Then PUBG Lite is probably just right for you. The game is content with a tiny system challenge on the PC and it’s free.

This is new: The PUBG team has been working on a version that does not take up much hardware. PUBG Lite is now in beta in Thailand. It’s free and the system requirements are ridiculously low. Even onboard graphics are enough.

 

You know that about PUBG Lite

When does the beta start? First, PUBG Lite started as a beta in Thailand. The test phase started today, on January 24th. Other places, which were not named more precisely, should soon be released for the beta. There is not a fixed date yet.

Why this lite version? PUBG wants to give as many people as possible the chance to play this Battle Royale. Some could not attend due to the system requirements of PUBG. A much stripped down version could therefore bring more players.

What is in it? First of all there is only the original map “Erangel” and the desert map “Miramar” to play. But PUBG Corp. said that they want to continue to support the release in the future. Also the popular snow map Vikendi and new game modes will be added later.

For whom is PUBG Lite suitable? First and foremost, the gamer who is still on older, weaker systems are addressed here. 4GB of RAM and an Intel i3 with 2.4GHz are already sufficient here.

On the other hand, but also clearly addressed the people who have not yet wanted to pay the purchase price for PUBG. With the free version, you can already get a taste of the game without spending any money.

When will PUBG Lite be released? This is currently not known. At the moment PUBG Lite is planned for Thailand. But it means that “more countries should follow soon.”

 

The system requirements of PUBG Lite

How weak may the system be? The minimum requirements are particularly low with a small processor and Intel HD Graphics 4000. This can be done by computers and laptops that were bought 10 years ago.
