Disney Dreamlight Valley has many fish that can be captured and used. This Fishing Guide lists all fish species, values, and energy refills.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Catch Fish
In order to obtain a Fishing Rod from Goofy and begin angling for fish, you must first complete the Fishing Expedition quest.
You can fish in any body of water after acquiring a fishing rod. Make sure you’re casting toward the waves to increase your chances of success.
Your float will sink when you get a bite, signaling that you should begin reeling in your catch. To catch a fish, you must repeatedly click the LMB (or corresponding button) when the circle turns green.
The fishing spot will turn red and require another try if you don’t succeed. If you catch a fish, a message will go up on the screen describing the species you reeled in.
As important as it is to reel in some fish, you should also be on the lookout for fishing areas of all hues. There will be a wide range of difficulties at each of these fishing places, but the rarer and heavier fish you catch will be worth it in the end.
The Three-colored Fishing Spots:
In standard white fishing spots, you have to catch fish on both of your reeling attempts.
Blue fishing spots will only let you fish there if you reel in all three times. Blue fishing spots usually have fish like Shrimp and Bream, which are not too rare.
For gold-colored fishing spots, you will need to reel in all four times. Rare fish like Lobster and White Sturgeon often show up in golden fishing spots.
