First Time Feint Turn (1 Star), Stutter Feint (3 Stars), Heel to Ball Roll (4 Stars), and Heel Fake are the four new moves (5 Stars). Jog Open Up, Stand Open Up, and the Explosive Fake Shot are the names of the new fake shots (all 4 Stars). Let’s show you how to do them on this guide.
FIFA 23 skill moves star ratings
The list of FIFA 23 skill moves below is broken up into five groups. In the game, each player has a separate “skill moves” rating, which you can find on their attributes screen. This rating tells you how many tricks that player can do. One-star players can only use moves in that category, while five-star players can hit every single one. As you might guess, most defenders have lower ratings, while wingers usually have four stars or more.

Players in the midfield and up front typically have three star skills, allowing them to do moves like the Roulette and Heel Chop that are considered “classics” in FIFA.

4 Star Skill Moves
In FIFA 23, the four-star category has expanded to include the Heel to Ball Roll, Jog Open Up, Stand Open Up, and Explosive Fake Shot. The latter requires the user to have a rating of 85 or above in both Acceleration and Sprint Speed.
